The innovation introduces a portable electrochemical device designed for on-site pesticide degradation, offering a solution to the growing global demand for pesticides in modern agriculture (and the resulting increase in environmental pollution). The functional part of the device aims to establish a selective and robust interaction between the electrode surface and the pesticide, significantly enhancing degradation efficiency while reducing energy consumption. This proposed innovation holds significant ecological and economic potential, enabling safe, simple, and immediate decontamination of empty pesticide containers, sprayers, and equipment on-site before their final rinsing with water and/or recycling. It addresses various environmental issues by mitigating the consequences of human actions and negligence, solving problems locally before they escalate. Most importantly, the device requires no special preparation or expert training (anyone can safely use it when needed) and does not depend on the type of power source.
