The SPARC project of the Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy (ICTM) has been selected as one of five proposals approved for funding within the SAIGE Collaborative AI Proof‑of‑Concept Plus (AI cPoC+) call.

This call is supported by the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia, the World Bank, and the European Union, and the approved project is part of ICTM’s institutional transformation activities under the SAIGE program. A total of 17 proposals were submitted and independently evaluated.

The SPARC project is a collaboration between our institute and The Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia.

The project represents an important milestone for ICTM and contributes to strengthening national capacities in advanced materials, neuromorphic technologies, and artificial intelligence.
