Research Interests:
Upstream and downstream processing of glucohydrolases. Protein engineering, immobilization and application of carbohydrate (starch)-active enzymes. Establishing the relationships between the structure of carbohydrate (starch)-active enzymes and their precise specificity. Exploring application potential in various areas, from the search of novel enzymes for biofuel production to the exploration of the gut microbiota.
