2013- The first prize of the Foundation "Docent Dr Milena Dalmacija" for his doctoral thesis which has made the greatest scientific contribution in the field of environmental protection at universities in the Republic of Serbia (2010-2013).

Research Interests:

1. Advanced Oxidation Process, AOPs - Development, optimization and application of advanced oxidation processes to remove organic pollutants from the environment (textile dyes, herbicides, chlorophenols, nicotine, detergents, phenol, etc.). AOPs are of interest: low-temperature plasma treatments (DBD, Dielectric Barrier Discharge), photocatalysis, homogeneous and heterogeneous Fenton's reagent and photo-Fenton reagent and others like him, ozonolysis, etc.)

2. ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry) - Simultaneous multi elemental qualitative and quantitative analysis of micro and macro (over 66 elements) in water, food, biological and medical samples, environmental samples, nanoparticles, catalysts, sorbents, alloys, petrochemical samples ceramics, soils, plastics, composite materials, etc. Objective: development, optimization, correction of interference and application of analytical techniques.

3. ICP- MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry) - Highly efficient multi elementrarna analytical technique for the quantification of trace metals, non-metals and metalloids (ng / L, ppt) in medical, biological and oncology samples, water, food, environmental samples, etc.

4. HPLC-ICP-MS (HPLC separation analytical techniques associated with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry) - As speciation (and Cr, Se, Hg, etc.) organic and inorganic compounds in water, food, biological, medical and other types of samples.

5. Microwave-hydrothermal synthesis Microwave-hydrothermal synthesis of new nanostructured materials that are used as sorbents, catalysts (photocatalysis, Fenton-like catalysis, etc.) and materials for other applications.
