Research Interests:

  • Synthesis and functionalization of macroporous copolymers and polymer composites.
  • Application of macroporous copolymers for removal of different contaminants (heavy and precious metals, textile dyes and radionuclides) from aqueous solutions.
  • Enzyme immobilization on macroporous supports (in cooperation with Zernike Institute for Advanced Materials, Polymer Chemistry Department, University of Groningen, The Netherlands).
  • Polymer characterization in gas/solid systems by inverse gas chromatography.
  • Polymer membranes preparation and application.
