- Geochemical characterization of different types of sedimentary rocks (Neogene lacustrine sediments, source rocks for oil, oil shales, coals, river muds)

- Organic-geochemical characterization of crude oils

- Optimization of conditions of pyrolysis and oxidation techniques for the study of asphaltenes and maltenes wchich is okluded in them.
