The status of the Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy as National Institute of the Republic of Serbia was confirmed by a recent re-accreditation. By the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Serbia No. 022-892/2022 from February 10, 2022 (published in the "Official Gazette of the RS," No. 18/22 on February 11, 2022), the Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy is again accredited as the National Institute.

ICTM gained this prestigious status in 2018, and in accordance with the new Law on Science and Research, ICTM is now accredited as the National Institute of the Republic of Serbia for 10 years.
