In the Republic of Serbia, there are currently 15 Scientific Centerс of Excellence. This status can only be obtained by those that achieve top-notch, internationally recognized scientific and professional results and achievements in a specific scientific discipline and, based on that, have developed international scientific, technical, and technological cooperation. The association Knowledge Committee of Serbia, with the help of the Center for the Promotion of Science, realized the project "Centers of excellence," which they were presented to the general public.

Two centers of excellence have been accredited at ICTM:  the Center for Microelectronic Technologies and the Center for Environmental Chemistry and engineering. Their presentation can be seen at:
