The side of our Institute's building in Njegoševa Street has been given a new look. Prominent scientists are depicted on the painted mural: Prof. Dr. Milutin Stefanović (1924-2009), Prof. Dr. Paula Putanov (1925-2014), and Prof. Dr. Pavle Savić (1909-1994). With their work, they made an exceptional contribution to the development of chemistry and physical chemistry in Serbia, as well as to the founding of the Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy (ICTM). The ICTM logo is displayed on the wall, as well as the most significant dates in the history of our Institute - from the establishment of the State Chemical Laboratory in 1859 by decree of Prince Miloš, the construction of the building in Njegoševa in 1882, to the acquisition of the status of the National Institute in 2018. The building in Njegoševa represents a Cultural monument and speaks of the tradition of chemical sciences in Serbia.
