In cooperation with the "Elektroprivreda Srbije," 28.05.2024., a visit to the Thermal Power Plant Kostolac B in Kostolac was organized for the young researchers of ICTM. During the visit, the young researchers had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with environmental protection measures in this energy system (flue gas desulfurization and lime production, electrostatic precipitators, and ash removal from flue gases) and how they function. This visit was organized as part of the overall strengthening of ICTM's research capacities, with the primary goal for young ICTM researchers to gain insight into the implementation of environmental protection principles in real energy systems and their complexity.
