The cooperation of ICTM with the Institute for Metallurgical Process Engineering and Metal Recycling (IME) of the University of Aachen was presented in a publication on the occasion of the fifth 25-year period of operation of IME. IME is a teaching and research institute in the field of metallurgical extraction, recycling, refining and synthesis of non-ferrous metals and alloys. Current research focuses strongly on activities related to the circular economy. The strategic partnership with ICTM is in the field of electrochemistry.
