Representatives of the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia, together with associates within the World Bank's SAIGE project, experts in environmental and ethical issues, visited the Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy as part of regular monitoring of the implementation of projects, including the PELAS project from the PROMIS2023 program. During the Supervision visit, which took place on November 15, 2024, the project manager, Dr. Gordana Gajica, presented the project activities, results to date, the organization of the research team's work, as well as the equipment purchased from the project funds.

During the visit, special attention was paid to the discussion regarding the monitoring of the implementation of the Environmental and Social Management Checklist, i.e. the management of risks related to the environment and the ethical aspect of the implementation of research.
