At the invitation of the University Chahid Mostefa Benboulaïd – Batna 2 and the Ministry of Higher Education and Science of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, in November 2025, representatives of the University of Belgrade visited Batna: Milica Vlahović from the Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy and Aleksandar Savić from the Faculty of Civil Engineering. This visit represents the first official visit within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between the University of Batna 2 and the University of Belgrade.

At the headquarters of the University of Batna 2, the guests were received by Prof. Dr. Hacene Smadi, Rector, and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Salah Aggoun, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Public Relations, and Scientific Events.

The visit is part of the cooperation program between the two institutions. It aims to strengthen academic ties, exchange experiences, and enhance joint activities in scientific research and education.

Representatives of the University of Belgrade delivered a series of scientific and professional lectures on construction materials, thereby contributing to knowledge and experience exchange and to the advancement of professional and scientific cooperation between the institutions.
