The Serbian Reproducibility Network (RS‑RN) is organizing a webinar dedicated to the application of modern AI tools in scientific research, titled “Automatic Data Extraction from Scientific Papers Using LLM Models.”

The webinar will take place on 18 May 2026, from 11:00 to 12:00 CET, via the Zoom platform.

This event is part of RS‑RN’s ongoing activities aimed at strengthening research quality, transparency, and reliability. The webinar is organized by Dr. Matija Zlatar, Principal Research Fellow at ICTM, who also serves as the coordinator of the RS‑RN network.

The webinar will present how Large Language Models (LLMs) can be used for automatic extraction of structured data from scientific literature, with practical examples from microplastic toxicology. Special emphasis will be placed on the use of RAG architecture and evidence mapping to improve transparency and reproducibility of research findings.
