Agreement on cooperation between ICTM and the Institute of Information Technologies Kragujevac

On Thursday, September 17, 2020. the Agreement on Scientific and Business-Technical Cooperation of the Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy and the Institute of Information Technologies Kragujevac (http://iit.kg.ac.rs) was signed. By signing the Agreement, the Contracting Parties undertook to cooperate through building scientific capacities that define joint work on national and international projects, as well as providing conditions for young scientists to engage in scientific research and professional work. The signing of this document was attended by the Rector of the University of Kragujevac, Prof. Dr. Nenad Filipović, representatives of the Institute of Information Technology Kragujevac - Dr. Biljana Šmit, Assistant Research Professor and Dr. Dubravka Živković, research associate, as well as representatives of the Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy - Dr. Željko Čupić, Research Professor and Dr. Uroš Andjelković, Associate Research Professor.

The success of our researchers - the project "Polymer-encapsulated disinfectant. Disinfection potential against a broad spectrum of microbes and some pathogen coronavirus species" approved for funding

Within the program "Proof of Concept" of the Innovation Fund of the Republic of Serbia, 48 projects were approved out of 253 submitted proposals. Among the approved projects is the project "Polymer-encapsulated disinfectant. Disinfection potential against a broad spectrum of microbes and some pathogen coronavirus species." The team members are Dr. Goran Janjić (project manager), Dr. Aleksandra Nastasović, Dr. Ivana Djordjević, Dr. Bojana Marković, and Tamara Tadić.

Congratulations to our colleagues on the awarded project, and we wish them much success in the realization of the planned activities!

The success of our researchers - the project "Greencept" approved for funding under the Program "Proof of Concept"

Within the program "Proof of Concept" of the Innovation Fund of the Republic of Serbia, 48 projects were approved out of 253 submitted proposals. The third on the list of approved projects www.inovacionifond.rs/cms/files/dokaz-koncepta-odobreni-projekti-prvi-ciklus/Lista_odobrenih_projekata_PoC_II_Poziv.pdf is the project “Integrated green concept for malodors removal and disinfection in working environments – GREENCEPT”. The team members are dr Marija Mihailović (project manager), prof. dr Jasmina Stevanović, dr Miroslav M. Pavlović, master Marijana Pantović-Pavlović i dr Vladimir Panić.

The project "Gramulsen" presented in the "Politika" newspaper

The project "Gramulsen - Graphene-based Wearable Multiparameter Sensor "has been presented to the general public in the "Politika "newspaper (http://www.politika.rs/scc/clanak/461649/Za-ideje-mladih-doktora-nauka-devet-miliona-evra; in Serbian). The Gramulsen project is one of 59 projects funded by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia within the Program for Excellent Projects of Young Researchers (Promis). The team led by Dr. Marko Spasenović is working on the development of highly sensitive graphene-based sensors. These sensors will be widely used in the detection of harmful gases, temperatures, humidity, and stresses on rigid and flexible substrates.
