ICTM's researchers at the 65th International Fair of Technics and Technical Achievements
Researchers from the Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy (ICTM) participated in the 65th International Technology Fair in Belgrade from 16-19. May 2023, under the slogan "Play for humanity!" Science for everyone!". This fair is the oldest technical-technological exhibition manifestation in this part of Europe. The fair also included networking events and activities for meeting new business partners and exchanging experiences. An excellent opportunity for institutes to present achievements, meet users and discuss with colleagues was organized by the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation in cooperation with the ICT Hub and the Center for the Promotion of Science. The excellent concept and design of the fair exhibition have raised the level and represent a significant challenge to the organizers of the following technology fair.
1. ICTM part of the future BIO4 campus - contribution to the construction and development plan
Dr. Bojan Bondžić participated in the discussion of the creators of the BIO4 campus.
Dr. Nataša Božić, Dr. Dejan Opsenica, Dr. Marinela Šokarda Slavić and PhD student Sanja Stojanović presented ICTM as part of the future BIO4 campus.
2. ICTM researchers presented their latest inventions
Dr. Marko Spasenović, PhD students Stefan Ilić and Teodora Vićentić presented their invention, the Graphene-based breathing and heartbeat detector. The invention attracted the special attention of visitors.
PhD student Ana Filipović, Dr. Zdravko Džambaski, PhD student Stefan Ilić and Dr. Bojan Bondžić presented their invention Modular compact photoreactor for laboratory application.
Dr. Milija Sarajlić and Dr. Marko Bošković presented their invention Breathing and vital parameters detector that is powered without batteries.
3. ICTM's contribution to innovative entrepreneurship
Dr. Uroš Anđelković presented the challenges in the establishment and operation of the innovative start-up companies Flexisense and SavAntiVir based on the patented technologies of ICTM. The panel on system support for innovative startup companies was organized by the Health Technology Laboratory.
